Do you know how hard it is to get a set of affordable induction stove compatible pots and pans? ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. Cheap and induction does not go hand in hand. What happens if you get something not induction friendly? It simply won't cook as induction uses magnetic power to cook. It means if I have accidentally leave a plastic Tupperware or put my hand on my stove, nothing happens. If I left my fridge magnet on it, it will heat up and maybe even blow up haha. Uncle very skeptical with the hand example though and asked me to demonstrate it later. Gulp ~ stove do not fail me please....
Anyway a quick check in the internet will tell you the easiest way to identify an induction friendly pan is to check the label or stick a magnet underneath it. If it sticks, it has magnet and it will work on induction. A starter pack in Kmart with all pots and pans that you could possibly need only costs like $60.00 and you will have like 10-15 items. Induction? Nothing short of $300-$400.
Just my luck. Anyway with the year end sale, this is the best set I can get and that's at $250.00. By the way Bits is shouting this as my house warming present. GO BOYFRIEND!
....But....he hasn't reimburse me yet... maybe he wants to sponsor me more stuff, hihi..
